An unacceptable experience, and they...
- What did you like most?They did deduct ~$500 (food credits, waving the resort fee) from my bill due to the unfortunate experiences described below, and both managers I dealt with, Keita and Iris if I remember correctly, were very professional and polite; And separately, I should not that the architecture of the pubic areas is quite impressive and the gym is quite well-equipped
- Was there anything you didn't like?Room 1: Very loud renovations starting at 8am across the wall, intense drilling; an insistence by guest services that no laundry services are provided, which made me sort though which clothes I can wear again (later I discovered they were wrong); safety box left locked after prior guest; a security guard (Mr. Hayes) knocking forcefully on my door at 11:15pm, despite me having put a DND sign outside, and demanding to see my ID. Room 2 (was moved to it after complaining on my 2nd day): Door needs to be kicked quite strongly in order to enter and forcefully closed in order to close from the inside (a security risk because at first I thought it was closed behind me while actually it was not); miscellaneous dirt (four chocolate balls, hair pin, some pill) at several places on the carpeted floor; no vacuuming of the carpet even after I asked for it and promised it will be done. General: Could not connect my laptop (only my cell phone) to hotel wi-fi throughout my stay, IT could not resolve, was told by both IT and management that this is a known problem
